The Heart Behind Wild Child Catering

Hi, I’m Holly — the hands, heart, and a little bit of chaos behind Wild Child Catering.

I’ve been a chef for over 20 years, and food has always been my love language. I grew up in the kitchen beside my mum, watching her create meals that didn’t just feed people, but brought them together. Her passion, her vision, and her belief that food is a story worth telling became the recipe that shaped me from the very beginning.

Today, I’m lucky enough to carry on that legacy — mixing the old-school heart of my childhood with the wild energy of the life I live now.

I’m a mum to two beautiful little boys — a two-year-old and a one-year-old — who keep me humble, honest, and on my toes. They’re the reason I cook with purpose, create with love, and show up every day even when the house looks like a snack tornado blew through it.

And alongside all of that, I’m supported by my partner — a hard-working farmer who reminds me daily what true dedication looks like. Life on the land shapes the way I cook: simple, rustic, wholesome, and deeply connected to the people I’m feeding.

Wild Child Catering is more than a business.

It’s my story.

It’s family, country living, and decades of cooking all rolled into one.

It’s the fire that keeps me creative.

It’s the way I show love — to my clients, my community, and my family.

Whether I’m cooking freezer meals to nourish busy families, creating custom cookies and slices for special moments, or stepping into a home as a private chef, my goal is always the same:

Good food. Real heart. Wild energy.
